My Photography Milestones

AWPF

THE WELSH PHOTOGRAPHIC FEDERATION (WPF) is a regional body that supports and promotes photography across South Wales through its network of affiliated camera clubs.
The WPF is affiliated with the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP). It represents around 50 clubs and aims to foster photographic excellence by organizing exhibitions like the Welsh Salon of Photography, hosting conventions, and awarding distinctions such as the AWPF (Associate of the WPF).

To achieve the AWPF (Associate of the Welsh Photographic Federation), you must submit a cohesive panel of 12 photographic images that demonstrate technical excellence, creativity, and a unified theme.

THE BRITISH PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITIONS (BPE) is a national circuit of independently run photographic exhibitions across the UK, designed to encourage creative photography and recognize achievement through a structured awards system.
Photographers can submit their work to any of the 15+ affiliated exhibitions within the BPE circuit. Each accepted image earns points toward the prestigious Crown Awards, ranging from BPE1 Crown (25 acceptances) to BPE5 Crown (300 acceptances). Those who reach the highest level may then apply for further distinctions: Associateship (ABPE) and Fellowship (FBPE)
